2) creation

(last few days) Tracked dream and daily illustration work in classroom.

Daily Message to Mom: *The cover to ...fence posts rotting in the acreage... is iconic for me as it shows our life in the townhouse and the quality of our time: vinyl collection in the background, the plastic red chair from the set with table where I played with action figures, pie pans with milk, brown shoes and bowl cut, sensitive little boy enamored with puppies, and newspapers everywhere to protect the carpet.

DAILY ARTIFACT LOG - GOAL

My artifacts are not stillborn or arrested in early development so much by unresolved planning or structural defects but instead are slowly pinched off by small stoppers and momentum-less days. The creative effort not lost to hemorrhage but leached off by the routine everyday droplets. The late arriving echo audience hardly privy to the daily toil that piles the artifacts for a lifetime before their immediate awareness, appraisal, and acquisition. Deadlines aid the effort but are product-bound and necessarily presume an audience / patron / publisher / distributor / and such.
