1) Identification, 2) creation

(last few days) a few good quotes captured from the boys and current obsessions detailed in notebook. clear visions of where ...fence posts rotting in the acreage... but little motivation to make the effort. reading approximately three hours daily. to movies two or three nights a week. the falling into sleep a vivid phantasmagoria. playing with the boys, especially scorpions. Two weeks of organizing classroom.

DAILY ARTIFACT LOG - GOAL

My artifacts are not stillborn or arrested in early development so much by unresolved planning or structural defects but instead are slowly pinched off by small stoppers and momentum-less days. The creative effort not lost to hemorrhage but leached off by the routine everyday droplets. The late arriving echo audience hardly privy to the daily toil that piles the artifacts for a lifetime before their immediate awareness, appraisal, and acquisition. Deadlines aid the effort but are product-bound and necessarily presume an audience / patron / publisher / distributor / and such.
