2) creation

(yesterday) finished edit on jone's track. bounced pieces to one track, around 18 minutes total. complete proof that original sound is paramount and all else is derivative - the poor quality of tape, the conversation over a phone line, and the wild dynamic range (my responses booming through and much of his at tape hiss threshold) all before even beginning the signal processing.

DAILY ARTIFACT LOG - GOAL

My artifacts are not stillborn or arrested in early development so much by unresolved planning or structural defects but instead are slowly pinched off by small stoppers and momentum-less days. The creative effort not lost to hemorrhage but leached off by the routine everyday droplets. The late arriving echo audience hardly privy to the daily toil that piles the artifacts for a lifetime before their immediate awareness, appraisal, and acquisition. Deadlines aid the effort but are product-bound and necessarily presume an audience / patron / publisher / distributor / and such.
