2) creation, 3) community

(last few days) helping write and edit a letter for mate denied college financial aid, writing and editing section for ...fence posts rotting in the acreage... chapter 13, writing individualized thank you cards to kids for holiday gifts - practicing cartoon sketches/characters and typography. dinner and alcohol with Naquin (http://www.matthewnaquin.com/), discussing current art efforts and taunting me to put out the hundreds of pages written but seldom shared.

DAILY ARTIFACT LOG - GOAL

My artifacts are not stillborn or arrested in early development so much by unresolved planning or structural defects but instead are slowly pinched off by small stoppers and momentum-less days. The creative effort not lost to hemorrhage but leached off by the routine everyday droplets. The late arriving echo audience hardly privy to the daily toil that piles the artifacts for a lifetime before their immediate awareness, appraisal, and acquisition. Deadlines aid the effort but are product-bound and necessarily presume an audience / patron / publisher / distributor / and such.
