2) creation, 4) housekeeping

(last two days) slight notebook entries and organization of artifacts in computer. year-end dvds finished and including illustration on each of a character worked up in class, during instruction needing visual re-presentation and student representative. the uni-ball vision elite black ink on matte dvd paper label took me. plans to use summer-time for studio cleaning. goals to have all boxes and piles into large metal-gray file cabinets, laptop and Kelli's computer synchronized with photos, et cetera

planning out rogues gallery in fence posts rotting in the acreage... for all the old friends.

DAILY ARTIFACT LOG - GOAL

My artifacts are not stillborn or arrested in early development so much by unresolved planning or structural defects but instead are slowly pinched off by small stoppers and momentum-less days. The creative effort not lost to hemorrhage but leached off by the routine everyday droplets. The late arriving echo audience hardly privy to the daily toil that piles the artifacts for a lifetime before their immediate awareness, appraisal, and acquisition. Deadlines aid the effort but are product-bound and necessarily presume an audience / patron / publisher / distributor / and such.
