2) creation

(last week or so) new work on book 3 of ...fence posts rotting in the acreage... after some break. technical difficulties on several fronts - some section of signal chain defective as unable to transfer recordings made with small digital recorder into computer - might be mixer. external hard drive inoperable - leaving no way to back-up material on main computer and slightly elevating anxiety that all will be lost.

DAILY ARTIFACT LOG - GOAL

My artifacts are not stillborn or arrested in early development so much by unresolved planning or structural defects but instead are slowly pinched off by small stoppers and momentum-less days. The creative effort not lost to hemorrhage but leached off by the routine everyday droplets. The late arriving echo audience hardly privy to the daily toil that piles the artifacts for a lifetime before their immediate awareness, appraisal, and acquisition. Deadlines aid the effort but are product-bound and necessarily presume an audience / patron / publisher / distributor / and such.
