2) creation

took photos of house we lived in five years ago. returning to scout out the condition, planning to move there again, now with kids. the walls don't have the paint we rolled on then, but in furnace closet found my writing of the air filter size on the wall. remember the splintering veneer of the door that is misaligned.

DAILY ARTIFACT LOG - GOAL

My artifacts are not stillborn or arrested in early development so much by unresolved planning or structural defects but instead are slowly pinched off by small stoppers and momentum-less days. The creative effort not lost to hemorrhage but leached off by the routine everyday droplets. The late arriving echo audience hardly privy to the daily toil that piles the artifacts for a lifetime before their immediate awareness, appraisal, and acquisition. Deadlines aid the effort but are product-bound and necessarily presume an audience / patron / publisher / distributor / and such.
